The app includes several tables and lists of the elements as well as details for each element. This is an excellent resource.

I need to work with materials engineers and chemists. This helps me understand the basics and link to physical data I need to help develop my ideas.

Organize your periodic table by metals, nonmetals, and metalloids; 7 categories; s,p,d,f; what ever you want. Sort elements alphabetically by symbol, name, or sequentially by number. Can also search. Very good app.

This app is awesome! Theres easy access to a lot of useful information for each element on the periodic table. I use it while doing my chemistry homework and I its perfect!

For organometallic purposes, having the group number on the table helps to determine # of valence electrons in the elements unoxidized state. With these tables, you need to count the columns to the transitional metals unless you remember them. Ill give 5 stars when that happens!

Its been a month since IUPAC updated the atomic weight of Ytterbium - and QuickElem still has not been updated. Whats an exacting Ytterbium chemist to do? Otherwise this is a great app!
